The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) has announced Jason White as the Head Coach for the United States Women’s National University Team. This team is set to compete at the 2027 FISU Winter World University Games, which will take place in Changchun,
China, from January 13-25, 2027. White, who has been the Head Coach at Midland University since the 2017-2018 season, brings a strong track record to this role, including three ACHA Women’s Coach of the Year awards and leading Midland University to its first ACHA Women’s Division I National Championship in the 2025-2026 season. His tenure at Midland University has seen the team achieve a record of 209-89-15 and make seven appearances at the ACHA Women’s Division 1 National Tournament. The coaching staff will also include Assistant Coach Hannah Griffin, Director of Player Personnel Chris Lowes, Team Doctor Armand McGibbon, and Equipment Manager Peter Carson. The Women's tournament at the Games will feature eight teams, including the United States, competing in a round-robin format followed by quarterfinals.
