Piper Aircraft has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing campus in Vero Beach, Florida, with the construction of a new state-of-the-art service center. This facility will serve as a factory-supported independent service provider for the Piper general
aviation community across the Eastern U.S., the Caribbean, Mexico, and Central America. The new two-story structure will include over 33,000 square feet of indoor space for maintenance activities, aircraft deliveries, customer lounges, and administrative offices, along with 11,000 square feet of outdoor service area. The center will feature seven indoor aircraft bays and four outdoor bays. Groundbreaking is scheduled for later this year, with the facility expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2027, coinciding with Piper's 90th anniversary. The expansion is anticipated to create at least 20 new jobs, including positions for technicians, A&P mechanics, and support staff.
