Wistron has inaugurated its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, Texas, dedicated to producing advanced AI systems for NVIDIA. The 324,000-square-foot plant, known as the D1 facility, is set to manufacture NVIDIA's GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra
Superchip and the Vera Rubin Superchip. This development is part of a $700 million investment aimed at enhancing the U.S. manufacturing base for AI technologies. The facility is expected to create over 500 jobs, with plans to expand to 1,000 by the end of the year. NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, emphasized the importance of such facilities in reindustrializing the U.S. and supporting the AI era.
