Asiacell, a leading telecom company in Iraq, has announced the successful implementation of IPv6 Dual Stack technology, becoming the first in the country to do so. This technology allows both IPv4 and IPv6 protocols to operate simultaneously, ensuring
a smoother transition to next-generation internet standards while maintaining service continuity for existing users. The upgrade promises faster connectivity, improved cloud performance, and 5G-ready infrastructure for Asiacell's subscribers. The deployment was carried out under the supervision and sponsorship of the Iraqi Communications and Media Commission (CMC).
