HKC has announced the release of its new Apex 32U165VD and Apex 27U165D gaming monitors, which were showcased at BW2026. These monitors are notable for being the first to feature RGB MiniLED backlighting in 31.4-inch and 27-inch sizes. The Apex 32U165VD model
boasts 4,788 RGB lighting control zones, offering up to 1,400 nits of HDR peak brightness and 700 nits across the full screen. It supports two operating modes: 3840x2160 at 165 Hz and 1920x1080 at 330 Hz. The monitor also includes DisplayPort 2.1 and two USB-C ports with power delivery capabilities. The smaller Apex 27U165D features 3,456 control zones and a USB-C port with 90W power delivery. Both models utilize HKC’s color-control processor, which claims 114-bit control precision. Additionally, HKC introduced the Apex 27Q320B, a 27-inch gaming monitor using Samsung Display’s fourth-generation QD-OLED panel, which supports 2560x1440 at 320 Hz and has a 0.03 ms GtG response time.
