Providence College Athletics and Learfield have announced a new multi-year partnership with University Orthopedics, designating the regional sports medicine provider as the Official Orthopedic Provider for 19 of the College’s 21 NCAA Division I varsity
teams. This collaboration will extend specialized orthopedic and sports medicine care, including injury prevention, treatment, and recovery, to student-athletes across various sports such as men’s and women’s basketball, cross country, field hockey, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming and diving, tennis, track, and volleyball. University Orthopedics, a regional leader in orthopedic care with over 70 board-certified, fellowship-trained physicians, aims to support student-athletes in maintaining health and recovering from injuries to compete at the highest level. The partnership also includes visibility for University Orthopedics through in-venue signage, game sponsorships, digital content, and radio integrations, as well as community-focused events featuring student-athletes and coaches.
