What's Happening?
Barrick Mining Corporation has appointed Sebastiaan Bock as the Chief Executive Officer for its Rest of World operations, effective immediately. Bock will oversee Barrick's gold and copper projects outside North America, reporting to Mark Hill, the President
and CEO of Barrick. The Rest of World portfolio includes assets across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, producing over two million gold equivalent ounces annually. Under Bock's leadership, the region is expected to grow by more than 20% over the next three years. Bock's previous roles at Barrick include Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Africa and the Middle East, and Chief Operating Officer for the region.
