What's Happening?
The Davis Shambhala Center is providing hybrid meditation and mindfulness sessions, allowing participants to explore and deepen their practice both online and in person. These sessions are held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings. The practice begins
at 7:00 AM with aspiration-setting morning chants, followed by periods of silent sitting and walking meditation. Following the meditation, there is an optional light breakfast and a short dharma conversation from 8:00 to 9:00 AM, using excerpts from a book as a discussion point. Currently, the discussions are based on commentaries on the 'Mind Training' or 59 Lojong slogans. The center welcomes meditators of all experience levels and offers meditation instruction at 7:00 AM.
