ABS, a leading classification society, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with prominent Korean and U.S. research institutions to foster technical innovation and collaboration in the shipbuilding and maritime sectors. This agreement was formalized
during the opening of the Korea-U.S. Shipbuilding Partnership Center (KUSPC) in Washington, D.C. The MOU partners include the Korea Research Institute of Ships and Ocean Engineering (KRISO), the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT), and Texas A&M University (TAMU).
