Jacobs, a leading professional services firm, has been awarded a five-and-a-half-year contract by the Oklahoma City Water Utilities Trust (OCWUT) to provide operations and maintenance (O&M) services for the city's wastewater facilities and solids management
program. This agreement aims to ensure reliable wastewater services for Oklahoma City and six surrounding communities. Under the contract, Jacobs will manage four wastewater treatment facilities with a combined capacity exceeding 110 million gallons per day, a regional pump station, and associated solids management, including biosolids disposal and septage receiving services. Jacobs Senior Vice President Alberto Lazaro emphasized that the company will integrate operational insight, asset management, and digital capabilities to support daily performance, prioritize investments, strengthen regulatory compliance, and manage infrastructure long-term.
