New Mexico is deepening its commitment to quantum technology by investing an additional $3 million into the University of New Mexico's Quantum New Mexico Institute. This funding is part of a broader initiative by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham's administration

The Quantum New Mexico Institute, a joint research entity involving UNM's College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering, and Sandia National Laboratories, previously received $25 million from the state last year.
