Edible Garden AG Incorporated, a leader in controlled environment agriculture (CEA), has announced the appointment of Ernesto Insignares as Senior Project Manager. Mr. Insignares, formerly of Tetra Pak, will be instrumental in overseeing the development
and execution of the company's Prairie Hills ready-to-drink (RTD) clean nutrition manufacturing facility located in Webster City, Iowa. This facility, once fully operational, is projected to produce over 100 million beverage units annually. Edible Garden is transforming the approximately 400,000-square-foot Prairie Hills facility into a high-capacity manufacturing hub for shelf-stable nutritional beverages, utilizing advanced Tetra Pak processing and packaging technologies. The company has already engaged Structura Architects for facility planning and E2 Building Group for construction execution. Additionally, Edible Garden successfully completed clean-label RTD prototype production at Tetra Pak’s New Product Development Center, validating its formulations under commercial processing conditions.
