What's Happening?
The Wyoming Office of Tourism has launched an initiative to honor five residents as 'Mavericks of Wyoming' for their leadership and contributions to the state's culture and economy. The honorees include country musician Ian Munsick, artist Richard Burke,
tech entrepreneur Heather Morgan Shoemaker, tribal leader Jason Blades, and Bryce Albright of the Dude Ranchers’ Association. Each honoree received a custom jacket from Wrangler, symbolizing their embodiment of Wyoming's spirit. Governor Mark Gordon was also named an 'Honorary Maverick' for his contributions to the state.
