Micron has unveiled a new 60,000-square-foot training center in Boise, Idaho, designed to recruit and train employees for its expanding semiconductor operations. The facility will serve both new hires and students from the College of Western Idaho (CWI),
offering classrooms and equipment used in fabrication plants. This initiative is part of Micron's broader expansion plans, which include the construction of two new fabrication plants (fabs) and a $10 billion Micron Research Labs. These expansions are projected to create over 17,000 indirect jobs and 2,000 permanent positions.
