Paul Fairburn has been appointed as the Director of Consultancy and Commercial Services at the Royal College of Art (RCA). Starting on September 1, 2026, Fairburn will work within the Research, Knowledge Exchange & Innovation directorate. His role will focus
on diversifying the College's income streams beyond tuition fees by developing strategic consultancy and commercial partnerships. Fairburn brings extensive experience from Coventry University, where he led innovation and business engagement programs.
