Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), in collaboration with Cisco and HUMAIN, has announced the launch of a sovereign AI infrastructure platform in Saudi Arabia. This platform will utilize AMD Instinct GPUs and EPYC CPUs to provide high-performance AI compute
capabilities for government and enterprise users within the Kingdom. The partners have outlined ambitious plans to significantly expand local AI capacity in Saudi Arabia through 2030, with a planned ramp to 250 MW of infrastructure from 2027 and up to 1 GW by 2030.
