Steinberg, has converted the 18th floor of a tower at 30 N. LaSalle St. into a facility for growing microgreens, leafy greens, herbs, and edible flowers under LED light. Farm Zero now supplies its produce to local hospital systems, workplace dining programs for companies like Jump Trading and Uber, and restaurants such as Bazaar Meat and NoMI, with deliveries often made within hours of harvest.
