The 53rd Annual Governor's Cup Yacht Race is set to take place from July 31 to August 1, 2026, on the Chesapeake Bay. Presented by PNC Bank, this event is the oldest and longest overnight race in the region. The race will start in Annapolis and conclude
at St. Mary's College of Maryland in St. Mary's City, connecting the state's current and first capitals. This year, a Potomac Leg of the race will also be offered, beginning in Dahlgren, Virginia.
