San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has transformed Gate B4 in Harvey Milk Terminal 1 into a unique music venue, hosting a live music series called Terminal Sessions. This initiative is a partnership between SFO, the San Francisco Travel Association,
and Stern Grove, a free and nonprofit musical festival. The Beths, a New Zealand indie rock band, recently performed at the airport, attracting a diverse crowd of travelers and local concertgoers who utilized the airport's Gate Explorer program to access the post-security performance. The program allows visitors to apply for a pass up to 30 days in advance, subject to TSA vetting, to access terminals, exhibits, restaurants, and these live music events.
