SLB has been awarded a contract by OQ Exploration & Production (OQEP) for the expansion of the Bisat-B production facility in Oman. This project aims to increase the facility's gross fluids handling capacity to 548,000 barrels per day (bpd). Under the terms
of the contract, SLB will be responsible for the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning services for the expansion. Following the completion of these phases, SLB will also provide four years of operations and maintenance support. The project is slated for completion within 19 months and represents a significant step in OQEP's efforts to boost production at the Bisat field. This award builds upon SLB's prior involvement in the Bisat field, which includes the delivery of the Bisat-A facility in 2018 and the original Bisat-B facility in 2020.
