What's Happening?
Yale lightweight crew members Ry Natterson, Timmy Parsons, and Fielding Staelin represented the United States at the World Rowing Under 23 Championships in Duisburg, Germany. Timmy Parsons earned a gold medal in the Under 23 Mixed Eight event and a bronze
in the U23 men's four. The mixed eight event was a new addition, combining the US women's four and men's four teams. Parsons' team led the race from the start, finishing with a time of 5:51.72. In the men's four, Parsons' team secured third place with a time of 6:00.26. Meanwhile, Natterson and Staelin competed in the U23 lightweight men's double sculls, finishing fourth, marking the best U.S. finish in this event since 2015.
