What's Happening?
Diablo Resources has received the necessary permits to commence its maiden diamond drilling program at the North Star prospect, part of the Star Range Project in Utah. The initial drilling will cover approximately 1,000 meters across five diamond holes,
with approvals for up to 27 holes from 12 pads. The company aims to explore multiple silver-antimony-copper targets identified through high-grade surface results and geophysical anomalies. Groundwork is currently underway, with drilling expected to start in the coming weeks. This program marks a significant milestone for Diablo Resources, as it will test the geological model developed from surface geochemistry, geological mapping, and geophysical data. The Star Range Project, located near Milford in Beaver County, Utah, consists of 238 lode claims and one Utah lease.
Why It's Important?
The initiation of drilling at the North Star prospect is crucial for Diablo Resources as it seeks to validate its geological models and potentially discover significant mineral deposits. This project could enhance the company's portfolio in precious metals and critical minerals, which are vital for various industries, including technology and manufacturing. Successful drilling could lead to increased investment and development in the region, potentially boosting local economies. Moreover, the discovery of new mineral resources aligns with the growing demand for critical minerals, driven by technological advancements and the transition to renewable energy sources.
What's Next?
Following the initial drilling campaign, Diablo Resources plans to analyze assay results from regional surface geochemical programs at the South Star and East Star prospects. These results will guide future drilling efforts. The company is focused on expanding its exploration activities and potentially increasing its resource base. Stakeholders, including investors and local communities, will be closely monitoring the outcomes of this drilling program, as positive results could lead to further exploration and development activities in the area.
