Air India is set to expand its network in Canada by launching a new nonstop service between Mumbai and Toronto for the 2026-27 northern winter season. The airline will operate three weekly flights on this route from October 25, 2026, to March 26, 2027,
using Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. This move makes Air India the only carrier offering nonstop flights between these two cities. Additionally, Air India plans to deploy its new Boeing 787-9 aircraft on seven of its ten weekly flights from Delhi to Toronto, with the remaining flights transitioning to the new aircraft in January. The airline has also entered into a new codeshare agreement with Azerbaijan Airlines, enhancing connectivity between New Delhi, Mumbai, and Baku.
