Highway 50 Gold has commenced a drilling program at its Gold Knob Au Project in north-central Nevada. The phase one program involves 10 to 15 drill holes, targeting known gold mineralization and testing the company's hypothesis of a major gold system
at depth. The drilling will cover approximately 5,000 meters, with individual hole depths ranging from 180 to 425 meters. The Gold Knob project features gold mineralization within both upper-plate Valmy rocks and lower-plate Comus rocks, which are traceable on the surface and in previous drill holes over a 5-kilometer stretch. These rock types are similar to those found in the nearby Turquoise Ridge District. Regionally, the project shares deep crustal similarities with the Cortez District, including the structural intersection of the Caetano trough and the Northern Nevada Rift Central.
