BYD has officially confirmed the specifications for its new Denza N8 electric SUV, boasting a pure electric CLTC range of 1,003 km (623 miles) and a rapid charging capability that allows it to recharge
from 10% to 70% in just five minutes. A full recharge, from 10% to 97%, takes only nine minutes. This new all-electric version of the Denza N8, which was initially launched in China in 2023 as a plug-in hybrid, features BYD's latest Blade Batteries 2.0 and Flash Charging technology. The previous plug-in hybrid model, which offered a similar combined range, was discontinued due to sluggish sales. The new Denza N8 EV measures 5,150 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,820 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,075 mm, and is powered by a substantial 130.15 kWh battery pack. It will be available in both a single rear-wheel-drive (RWD) configuration with up to 496 hp and a tri-motor all-wheel-drive (AWD) version delivering a combined output of 1,193 hp.
