Citi Wealth has announced the appointment of Elizabeth (Liz) McElherne as the new head of AIMS platform management, effective September 8. McElherne will join the manager solutions (AIMS) leadership team and report directly to Daniel O’Donnell, head of alternatives
and investment manager solutions. In her new role, McElherne will oversee a broad range of product management, development, and business execution functions. Her responsibilities will include managing the lifecycle of global private equity, real estate, hedge fund, third-party mutual fund, exchange-traded fund, and UCIT products. McElherne brings over 17 years of leadership experience in wealth management and private markets. She previously served as a founding member and global head of client solutions at Alchelyst, a company formed in partnership with Apollo Global Management and Motive Partners, where she led commercial expansion efforts. Her prior experience also includes leadership roles at Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Apollo Global Management, where she focused on building and scaling wealth platforms for private markets distribution across multiple regions.
