FATHERS, a collective of talented producer-musicians, has announced their self-titled debut album set to release on July 10th via Blue Note. The group includes renowned figures such as producer Kenny Beats, keyboardist Kiefer, bassist CARRTOONS, and drummer
Nate Smith. Their lead single, 'PEARL,' introduces a blend of Brazilian pop-jazz with modern grooves. The project was born out of a collaboration initiated by Nate Smith during his residency at the Montreal Jazz Festival in 2023. The album was recorded at Kenny Beats' Putnam Hill studio in Los Angeles, where the group tested the studio's new recording console, resulting in the creation of the album's tracks over a 48-hour period.
