Dua Lipa, the renowned pop artist, is expanding her literary influence by opening a physical library in collaboration with Livraria Lello in Porto, Portugal. Named The Manifesto Library, this new cultural space is dedicated to books that challenge censorship
and dominant narratives. The library, set to open on June 27, 2026, will feature a collection of 100 books that have faced bans or restrictions due to their themes, including race and sexuality. Lipa's initiative follows her 2023 launch of the Service95 Book Club, aiming to create a global community for writers and readers. The library is designed as a living cultural space for reading, debate, and public reflection, housed in a new auditorium by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Álvaro Siza.
