What's Happening?
Lockheed Martin is deepening its industrial cooperation with Czech companies and universities as part of the F-35 program. This collaboration involves 11 projects with Lockheed Martin and three with F135 engine manufacturer Pratt & Whitney, engaging 13 Czech entities.
The cooperation focuses on four key areas: component manufacturing, research and development, pilot training, and F-35 maintenance, service, and repairs. Notably, LOM PRAHA and Lockheed Martin will work together to modify the training curricula at the LOM PRAHA Aviation Training Center to accommodate the Czech Army's adoption of the 5th-generation aircraft. Additionally, agreements have been signed with AERO Vodochody AEROSPACE for new-generation reconnaissance pod development, VZLU AEROSPACE for AI integration in aircraft development and testing, and Vrgineers for simulation technologies. Ray Service will supply cable harnesses for F-35 aircraft, further diversifying Czech involvement.
