Brandon Pirri, a former forward for the Rockford IceHogs, is slated to become the sixth inductee into the team's Ring of Honor. The induction ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, February 13, 2027. Pirri played
for the IceHogs for parts of six seasons between 2010-2014 and 2020-2022. During his tenure, he twice led the team in points and, in the 2012-13 season, he led the entire American Hockey League (AHL) in scoring with 75 points (22 goals, 53 assists), earning him the John B. Sollenberger Trophy as the league's top point-scorer. He also made franchise history on March 1, 2014, by becoming the first skater to reach the 200-point mark. Pirri was drafted 59th overall in the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft by Chicago and played in 35 games with the Blackhawks, as well as 276 total NHL contests across various teams including Florida, Anaheim, New York, and Vegas. He retired as the IceHogs' all-time leader with 214 points, 48 multi-point games, three hat tricks, and seven shootout goals. His notable performance on April 12, 2013, saw him record six points (1 goal, 5 assists) in a single game, tying a franchise record.
