Mondelez International is expanding its confectionery manufacturing facility in Scoresby, Melbourne, Australia, marking the 50th anniversary of the site. The expansion includes an $8 million investment in new packaging technology, part of a broader $30
million investment over the past five years. This facility produces a range of products for brands like Cadbury and Sour Patch Kids. The new technology will enhance production capabilities, supporting over 120 products in various formats, including mini-bags. Toby Smith, president of Mondelez International Australia, New Zealand, and Japan, highlighted the company's commitment to maintaining a strong manufacturing presence in the region.
