What's Happening?
Babson College has demonstrated outstanding performance in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, a global competition that tests students' ability to apply classroom learning to real-world equity research. Babson teams have won the local competition seven
out of the last nine years and captured the global championship in 2007. The competition involves undergraduate and graduate students working in teams with a faculty advisor and industry mentor to conduct in-depth financial analysis, value a publicly traded company, and present their recommendations to industry judges. This hands-on experience mirrors the rigor and expectations of the investment profession.
