& Development. Dr. Polyakova brings two decades of experience in drug discovery and development, specializing in γδ T cell biology and engager-based therapeutics. Her previous roles include Chief Scientific Officer at LAVA Therapeutics, an immuno-oncology company, and Chief Scientific Officer at LIfT Biosciences, which develops neutrophil-based therapies for solid tumors. She was also a Scientific Founder and Head of Discovery at Adaptate Biotherapeutics, a γδ TCE-focused spinout acquired by Takeda. This appointment aims to strengthen IN8bio's leadership and expertise as it advances its novel γδ T cell engager platform.
