What's Happening?
Archer Aviation, BETA Technologies, and Macquarie Capital have formed a partnership to establish a shared charging infrastructure for electric aviation across the United States. This initiative, known as America's Consortium for Electric Skyways (ACES),
aims to deploy interoperable charging systems at over 250 aviation sites nationwide over the next decade. The consortium will focus on airports, vertiports, and metropolitan areas where eVTOL operations are expected to develop. BETA Technologies will provide charging systems based on the Combined Charging Standard (CCS), widely adopted in the eVTOL industry.
