Bichan, a Scottish fiddler, performs vocals, strings, and fiddle on the track, joined by Rachel Sermanni and Kris Drever on vocals, Ethan Setiawan on mandolin, Conor Hearn on guitar, Brendan Hearn on cello, Katie McNally on strings, Neil Pearlman on synthesizer, and Noah Fishman on double bass. The album 'Binnorie' was engineered and mixed by Ethan Setiawan at Sassafras Hill Productions, with additional engineering by Keir Long, Chris Waite, and Darren Schneider, Brian Cromarty, Rachel Sermanni, and Kris Drever. Sam Leslie at SunBear Sound mastered the album. Bichan describes the song as featuring two of her favorite Scottish singers and a lush string arrangement she co-wrote with Katie McNally, expressing enjoyment in telling the story.
