What's Happening?
GoldHaven Resources has commenced a targeted induced polarisation (IP) survey at its Three Guardsmen Project in northwestern British Columbia. This survey, conducted by Scott Geophysics, is part of the next phase of exploration following the company's
2025 field program. The previous program confirmed widespread copper mineralisation and suggested the presence of a potential porphyry copper system at depth. The current survey covers approximately 3 kilometers across priority target areas and aims to generate data to prioritize future drilling locations. The 2025 exploration program collected 126 surface rock samples, with 25 samples grading greater than 1% copper, and peak results showing up to 14.8% copper. The mineralisation was traced over a strike length exceeding 1 kilometer, with geological observations indicating a possible extension up to 2.6 kilometers between the Canadian Verdee and Mildred showings.
Why It's Important?
The initiation of the geophysics survey is a significant step for GoldHaven Resources as it seeks to advance its understanding of the Three Guardsmen Project. The survey is expected to identify the sulphide-rich core of the system, which is crucial for generating high-confidence drill targets. This development could potentially unlock the broader district-scale potential of the project, enhancing the company's prospects in the competitive mining industry. The findings from this survey could lead to increased investment and interest in the region, potentially boosting local economies and contributing to the overall growth of the mining sector. For GoldHaven, successful identification of drill targets could lead to significant discoveries, positioning the company as a key player in the North American mining landscape.
What's Next?
Following the completion of the IP survey, GoldHaven Resources is expected to analyze the data to prioritize drilling locations. The company aims to identify high-confidence drill targets that could lead to further exploration and potential discoveries. The results of this survey will likely influence the company's strategic decisions and future exploration plans. Stakeholders, including investors and local communities, will be closely monitoring the outcomes, as successful exploration could lead to economic benefits and job creation in the region. Additionally, the findings may attract further investment and partnerships, enhancing GoldHaven's position in the mining industry.
