RareX, an Australian critical minerals company, has reported significant advancements in its metallurgical program for the Cummins Range Rare Earths and Phosphate Project in Western Australia. The company achieved a 9.5x upgrade in total rare earth oxide
(TREO) concentration, reaching a 25.15% grade. This result, obtained through recent flotation test work, marks a substantial improvement over previous Australian beneficiation results for the project. The tests were conducted by SGS Lakefield using a composite sample typical of high-grade zones within the deposit. The breakthrough result was achieved in test F7, which delivered 25.15% TREO at a 29.2% recovery rate. RareX is also exploring additional workstreams, including the extraction and refining of gallium and the evaluation of a biologically-driven nano-phosphate pathway.
