What's Happening?
On September 5, 2026, Anthem Orlando will host BEY-DAY, a five-hour Beyoncé-themed day party. The event, presented by Come Out With Pride and Orlando Guerrilla Gatherings, will take place from 3 PM to 8 PM in downtown Orlando's LGBTQ+ nightlife district.
The party will feature music from Beyoncé's entire catalog, including her latest album, Renaissance, which pays homage to Black queer ballroom and house culture. The event aims to provide an inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community, with live performances and themed attire encouraged.
Why It's Important?
BEY-DAY represents a significant cultural event for Orlando's LGBTQ+ community, offering a daytime alternative to traditional nightlife. By centering the event around Beyoncé's music, which often celebrates diversity and empowerment, the organizers aim to create a welcoming environment for all attendees. The timing of the event, just before Orlando's Pride season, positions it as a precursor to larger celebrations, highlighting the importance of inclusive spaces in fostering community connections. This event underscores the growing trend of daytime parties in the LGBTQ+ scene, catering to those who prefer earlier social gatherings.
