What's Happening?
Doxa has unveiled the Sub 200 T-Graph II, a new iteration of its classic 1969 design. The watch maintains its iconic dial layout with two subdials and an oversized arrowhead chronograph seconds hand. However, the new model features a reduced diameter
and case thickness, measuring 42mm in diameter and 14.6mm in thickness, compared to the previous 43mm and 15.15mm. The Sub 200 T-Graph II is powered by a contemporary automatic Sellita SW510 chronograph caliber, offering a 56-hour power reserve and a beat rate of 28,800 VpH, replacing the older Valjoux 7734 chronograph caliber.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of the Sub 200 T-Graph II reflects Doxa's commitment to blending classic design with modern technology. The updated dimensions and advanced movement cater to both vintage watch enthusiasts and modern consumers seeking reliability and precision. This release could strengthen Doxa's position in the competitive luxury watch market by appealing to a broader audience. The use of a contemporary movement enhances the watch's functionality, potentially increasing its appeal to collectors and watch aficionados.
