The manager will report to the Director of Investment Operational Accounting Governance within the Financial Controllership team. The role involves overseeing the review, reconciliation, and analysis of investment accounting data across insurance companies and subsidiaries, ensuring financial information accuracy, effective control operations, and timely resolution of exceptions. The manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external consultants, gaining exposure across the Controllers Organization, Corporate Finance, and Investment Management teams. Key responsibilities include supporting the implementation of a new general ledger, preparing and presenting monthly financial reporting, conducting research and data validation for account reconciliations, and identifying and resolving discrepancies between investment and accounting systems.
