The Acres: Growing the Future of Agriculture program has launched its 2026 cohort, aiming to support small and mid-sized agricultural businesses across the United States. This national accelerator program, developed in partnership with the National Minority
Supplier Development Council (NMSDC), provides education, mentorship, certification support, and corporate connections to help agricultural producers build capacity and pursue long-term growth opportunities. Since its inception in 2022, the program has supported entrepreneurs in various sectors, including produce, livestock, and specialty products. Cargill, the founding sponsor, along with other sponsors like UNFI, Bayer, and Hershey, play a crucial role in advancing the program's mission.
