Orlando Magic guard Jalen Suggs, along with other NBA stars such as Khris Middleton, is participating as a coach at the inaugural Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Next Up camp in Istanbul, Türkiye. The camp, organized by the NBA and FIBA, is taking place
from August 26-29 and aims to develop 80 top male high school-age basketball prospects from around the world. The event includes skill development, athletic testing, and various competitions. This camp marks a new format for BWB, coinciding with the program's 25th anniversary. Istanbul is hosting the event for the third time, having previously held BWB Europe camps in 2002 and 2008.

The BWB Next Up camp is significant as it represents a strategic effort by the NBA and FIBA to identify and nurture international basketball talent. By involving current and former NBA players and coaches, the camp provides young prospects with high-level training and exposure to professional basketball standards.
