What's Happening?
TYM North America has been awarded a Gold Level Award by the North American Equipment Dealers Association (NAEDA) in their latest dealer survey. This recognition highlights TYM's strong commitment to supporting agricultural equipment dealers across North America.
The Gold Level Award is given to manufacturers whose survey results surpass the average performance in their category by at least 10 percent. For the second consecutive year, TYM also secured the top ranking for Overall Satisfaction in the Tractor Manufacturer category. Additionally, the company achieved the number one position in Product Availability and Marketing and Advertising Support. TYM also ranked first or second in nine out of twelve key performance metrics, including Parts Quality, Return Privileges, Communication with Management, Warranty Payments, Product Quality, and Responsiveness to Dealers. The company credited its employees, dealer partners, and support teams for these achievements, emphasizing the importance of strong dealer relationships, especially during a challenging year for the agricultural market.
Why It's Important?
TYM's consistent high rankings in dealer satisfaction are crucial for the U.S. agricultural equipment market. Strong dealer satisfaction translates into better sales, service, and support for farmers and agricultural businesses, which are vital for the nation's food production and rural economy. The top ranking in Product Availability ensures that farmers have access to necessary equipment when they need it, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Effective Marketing and Advertising Support helps dealers reach customers and drive sales, contributing to the economic health of local communities. In a challenging agricultural market, a manufacturer's ability to support its dealers directly impacts the resilience and growth of the entire supply chain, from equipment production to farm operations. This recognition underscores TYM's role as a reliable partner for agricultural dealers and, by extension, for the U.S. agricultural sector.
What's Next?
TYM North America is expected to continue its focus on strengthening relationships with its dealer network and expanding its presence in the North American market. The company plans to build on its momentum by further improving communication, collaboration, and processes with existing dealers, while also continuing to welcome new dealers across the U.S. and Canada. TYM introduced three new compact utility tractor models (T5068, T5074, and T5075) in 2026 and will likely continue to innovate its product line, including attachments and diesel engines. The company's ongoing investments in dealer support, training, and customer service initiatives are aimed at fostering long-term relationships and driving growth. The annual NAEDA Dealer's Choice Survey will remain a key benchmark for TYM and other manufacturers to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement in the coming years.
Beyond the Headlines
TYM's success in dealer satisfaction reflects a broader trend in the agricultural industry where strong partnerships and comprehensive support are becoming increasingly critical. Beyond just product quality, dealers value manufacturers who provide robust parts availability, efficient warranty services, and clear communication. This holistic approach to dealer relations can create a competitive advantage, especially as the agricultural sector faces economic pressures and technological advancements. The emphasis on supporting dealers during a challenging year highlights the importance of resilience and adaptability in the supply chain. Furthermore, the introduction of new compact utility tractor models indicates a response to evolving market demands, potentially driven by smaller farm operations or specialized agricultural needs. This focus on dealer and product development suggests a strategic vision aimed at long-term sustainability and market leadership in the U.S. agricultural equipment landscape.
