Author and mathematician Manil Suri is set to discuss his latest memoir, 'A Room in Bombay,' at East End Books in Provincetown on July 21. The event will feature a conversation with writer Pamela Painter. Suri, who has been visiting Provincetown for years,
will be presenting his memoir for the first time in the area. 'A Room in Bombay' explores Suri's experiences growing up gay in India. Suri's previous work, 'The Death of Vishnu,' was published in 2001 and received critical acclaim, being translated into 27 languages and longlisted for the Booker Prize.
