Springfield Armory has announced the release of three new variants of its Model 2020 Waypoint rifle. These precision-manufactured rifles, made in the United States, feature an SG-100 Cerakote finish on their stocks, providing a tactile, rubberized texture
for enhanced grip. The new models are available in short- and long-action variants, chambered in .308 Win., 7mm PRC, or .300 Win. Mag. Each rifle includes a fluted 416 stainless steel barrel with an SA Radial Brake and a stainless steel action with a black H-164 Cerakote finish. The action is machined from pre-hardened stainless steel with EDM cut raceways and features a fluted bolt that can be disassembled without tools. Springfield Armory guarantees .75 MOA accuracy for three shots with match-grade ammunition and a skilled shooter. The .308 Win. variant has a 20-inch barrel, while the 7mm PRC and .300 Win. Mag. versions have 24-inch barrels. The manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) for each new SG-100-coated variant is $1,995.
