The Boise Metro Chamber recently held its 2026 Small Business and Chamber Excellence Award Winners event at the Boise Centre. This annual celebration recognized the achievements of small businesses and leaders in the community. Kevin Settles, owner of Bardenay
Restaurants & Distilleries, was named the 2026 Government Advocate of the Year for his efforts in advocating for small businesses at the government level. The event also saw the induction of Dan Price, former community banking president at Mountain West Bank, into the Chamber's Hall of Fame. The U.S. Small Business Administration's Boise District Office honored financial lenders in four categories, with ICCU and Zions Bank receiving multiple awards. The event included a reception and tradeshow, providing networking opportunities for attendees.
