A2Gold Corp. has announced significant assay results from the first phase of reverse circulation (RC) drilling at its McIntosh Target, part of the Eastside Gold-Silver Project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The drilling program successfully achieved two
key objectives: extending known gold mineralization and identifying a new gold zone. Hole ES-342 intersected 0.20 g/t gold over 32.0 meters, extending the existing McIntosh resource approximately 86 meters to the southeast. More notably, hole ES-347 discovered a new gold zone, intersecting 0.23 g/t gold over 65.5 meters, located about 370 meters southwest of the current McIntosh resource. This new discovery is associated with a previously untested 1.5 km north- to northwest-trending magnetic low anomaly, marking the first drill test to intersect gold mineralization in this area. Peter Gianulis, CEO of A2Gold, highlighted that these results confirm the utility of magnetic features in identifying additional mineralized structures within the Eastside district.
