Raytheon UK has unveiled the Red Kite, a new precision-guided bomb designed for integration with the Royal Air Force's Eurofighter Typhoons. The Red Kite is a lightweight, cost-effective weapon intended to enhance the RAF's arsenal by offering a high-volume
capability. It is based on the airframe of Raytheon's StormBreaker weapon and features UK-developed technologies for its guidance system, seeker, fuze, and warhead. The weapon is designed to be compatible with additional UK platforms, including the F-35B and MQ-9B Protector, and offers a range four times greater than the existing Paveway IV bomb.
