The University of Georgia's track and field team achieved significant success at the 2026 USATF Outdoor Championships, securing five medals and two national titles. Former Bulldog Garrett Scantling won the decathlon with 8,526 points, while Kyle Garland
finished second with 8,431 points. Additionally, a former NCAA Champion claimed the women's 400m title with a time of 49.93 seconds. The team also excelled in the men's javelin, with an All-American athlete securing a silver medal with a throw of 82.36 meters, marking the second-best performance in Georgia's history. The event saw several top-eight finishes, including in the women's 100m dash and 400m hurdles, as well as the men's 110m hurdles and 400m.
