Phillips 66, Kinder Morgan, and HF Sinclair have approved the $5 billion Western Gateway Pipeline project, forming a joint venture to establish a new fuel supply route to the U.S. West Coast. Phillips 66 will hold a 49.9% stake, Kinder Morgan 35.1%, and HF Sinclair 15%.
The 1,300-mile pipeline will transport refined products from St. Louis, Missouri, and Gulf Coast origins to Arizona and California, with a capacity of 230,000 barrels per day.
